TNPSC Group 4 Notification 2017

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has recently released the TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment Notification for which exam was mainly conducted to occupy the various vacancies like, Junior Assistant (Non – Security), Junior Assistant (Security), Typist, Village Administrative
Officer, Steno-Typist (Grade–III), Draftsman, Field Surveyor, Bill Collector- Grade-I.

Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Group 2017:

TNPSC Group 4 – Educational Qualification:

Minimum educational qualification to apply for TNPSC Group 4 Examination is to secure pass in SSLC/10th.

Typing Skills:

Candidates those who are applying for Typist and Steno Typist should full fill the below requirements,
  • Typing Higher (Tamil & English) or
  • Typing Higher in Tamil & Typing Lower in English or
  • Typing Higher in English & Typing Lower in Tamil

TNPSC Group 4 Examination – Age Limit:

Post Age Limit
Junior Assistant(Non-Security), Junior Assistant(Security), Bill Collector-Grade I, Field Surveyor, Draftsman, Typist and Steno-Typist (Grade -III). Min – 18 to Max – 30
Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Min – 21 to Max – 30

Note: Age Relaxations will be applicable for various posts based on the category, kindly check the official notification given below.

Selection Process for TNPSC Group 4:

Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the TNPSC Group 4 Written Examination, the tentative list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be announced in the Commission‟s website. After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for counselling to allot the post and Unit / Department in the order of rank and category to which they are eligible as per the vacancy position.

TNPSC Group 4 – Registration Fee & Examination Fee:

TNPSC Group 4 Registration Fee – For One Time Registration (Revised with effect from 01.03.2017 G.O.(Ms).No. 32, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, dated 01.03.2017) Rs.150/-
TNPSC Group 4 Examination Fee – The Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting the online

application for this recruitment if they are not eligible for the fee concession

noted below.

Mode of Payment Of Examination Fee (TNPSC Group 4):

Candidates those who are applying for TNPSC Group 4 have to pay Examination fee Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) is payable online through Net banking / Credit card / Debit card or it can be paid offline at SBI / Indian Bank / Post Office within 2 days from the date of submission of online application, by choosing the option in the online application.

TNPSC Group 4 Applicants have to register their basic particulars through One Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards registration fee and then should apply online for this recruitment The One Time Registration will be valid for 5 years from the Date of TNPSC Group 4 Registration. Thereafter, the registration should be renewed by paying the prescribed fee. TNPSC Group 4 Applicants who have already registered in One Time Registration system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted from paying the registration fee for this recruitment.

TNPSC Group 4 – Online Application Form

Combined Civil Services Examination – 4 (TNPSC Group IV). Applications are invited only through online mode up to 13.12.2017 for the years 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 for the Direct Recruitment to the following posts included in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service, Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service, Tamil Nadu Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service and Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service.

It is mandatory for the TNPSC Group 4 applicants to register their basic particulars through One Time online Registration system on payment of Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards registration fee and then should apply online for this recruitment. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will announce merit list after the result announcement. candidates can be ready next level of competitive exams if they appear in the merit list published by government. TNPSC will fix minimum cut off as qualifying marks. candidates will be selected for the next level of examination based on the cut off marks.
